Radar target measurement technology for modern stealth and anti-stealth research has great significance.The progress in stealth technology has a considerable challenge to existing radar.Therefore,the development of new anti-stealth radar has become a critical topic of the field of radar technology.Along with the progress of the world,the development of THz correlation theory,the development of the devices and the experimental verification,the terahertz radar is found that it has a strong antistealth capability,which is a trend of the future development.Terahertz radar is applied to ground target detection,which can obtain the high resolution image of the target and find the hidden object.In this paper,a introduction of the detailed design and measurement methods of terahertz imaging radar is presented.And some important problems about target measurement of radar are studied.Firstly,the background of the selected topic was introduced,as well as the development of terahertz frequency measurement technology at China and abroad.The significance of terahertz radar to ground target measurement is presented.Secondly,the simulation of the target RCS is carried out.The basic concept of RCS is introduced,as well as the common use of electromagnetic simulation software FEKO,which is used for RCS simulation of common flat plate and corner reflector.The results can be the basis for RCS measurement and estimation of complex objects.Thirdly,the atmospheric transmission model of THz frequency band is studied.A brief introduction of the terahertz wave in water vapor,oxygen and the rain attenuation is given.The terahertz wave in the cloud,fog and sand were focused on established related attenuation model.These are useful for the future space transmission applications.Subsequently,the SAR imaging algorithm is analyzed.The classic distance Doppler algorithm is introduced,and the result of algorithm simulation is given in the MATLAB,which lays the foundation for the future application.Finally,the composition of the radar system is introduced and the experimental verification is carried out.The structure of radar system,the measurement principle of RCS and the experiment of one dimension image are introduced,and the technical measures adopted in order to improve the experimental results are given.
