City image design reflects the specific regional culture and the spirit of the age of the important ways and means,this paper takes the city image design as the theoretical basis,the city image visual identification system as the main research object,aims to bring new media combined with city image visual identification system,make the city image visual identification system to be able to extend.Innovation point in this paper is to comb through the history and present situation out of the city image and using the APP as the carrier of the city,into the mobile terminal through the network,achieve greater spread the image of the city,and puts forward the city image visual identification system design method of the theory and method of the combination of APP design technology,in order to do foreshadowing for other city image promotion and reference.This article through to the domestic and foreign excellent introduction and analysis of city image design case,the critical reflection on the current domestic city image design,the author in his life in the city-yangzhou as an example,the on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire investigation,through a series of data show that found that yangzhou city image in the expansion of existing problems,and puts forward the design of interactive thinking and innovative experience into the city's image in the visual recognition system design,with APP structures,promotion platform,the competing goods analysis in the similar APP,users are divided into tourists and residents,with visual,yangzhou as the theme,Angle perception of yangzhou culture,all of them,and sorts the mind map will be the image of the city,tradition and modern,abstract and concrete analysis,establishment of yangzhou specific visual symbol,with characteristic of city interface design,pay attention to users' emotional experience,reflects the strong regional culture characteristics,concentrated bearing the image of the city.
