Speed Measurement Radar Remote Update Software Design And Implementation

Speed radar equipment is the major sets of intelligent traffic management system currently.The performance of the speed radar heavily affects effect of the intelligent traffic management system,and the effect of the radar is mainly determined by the radar software.With the rapid development of radar algorithm,the update radar software will enhance the overall effect of intelligent traffic management system.Because the replacement of the radar is time-consuming,the radar needs to have remote update function.The most important update function of the radar is the digital signal processor software.The remote update radar program has been finished according to the structural characteristics of digital signal processor and radar communications environment.In this software system,there are two separate functions of the project,one is executing the function of speeding,another is performing the update function.For communication,radar and personal computer(PC)using asynchronous serial communication,and feedback parity error to control signal.This method is feasible and reliable in the application.In the trend of the terminal device to access the network,based on new operating systems(BIOS)for Digital Signal Processors(DSP)hardware,the DSP software remote update by the Internet has been finished under the support of network development toolkit(NDK).
