With the rapid development of network technology,the traditional network laboratory which has become more and more unable to meet of experimental teaching courses because there are the problems the fast replacement and high damage rate of equipment,the high investment,complex debugging and management.Although some simulation softwares can be used,they cannot evaluate the effect of experiment.Many universities and research institutes have undertaken research and development of the virtual experiment system for the network courses and hope to replace or extend traditional laboratories with them.Due to the coverage of the Internet is more and more widely,the development of online virtual experiment system and the application prospect are concerned by the industry,but now remote online virtual experiment system which has been implemented did not achieve the ideal effect,such as the effect of the experiment can not be evaluated,so the study of online virtual experiment system has practical application value.Through the research and application of virtualization technology,JavaWeb framework technology and RIA technology,an online networking virtual simulation experimen system based on Dynamips is developed.The functions of this system are mainly composed of two main components: online networking virtual simulation experiment and experimental teaching management.Online networking virtual simulation experiment function is realized by secondary development on the basis of Dynamips,and some following technical problems are to be solved.Firstly,the CPU occupancy rate of the host computer is reduced in the process of using Dynamips by selecting the best virtual machine idle index idlepc value.Secondly,the rendering and operation of the network topology of Dynamips was realized combining with the HTML5 Canvas technology,and the graphical interface of Dynamips was optimized.Then in order to solve the Dynamips remote configuration need to rely on Telnet client of the local operating system,this system developed a Telnet client through the Applet technology,and solved the problem of Telnet is limited by sandbox through the digital signature technology.Experimental teaching management part is to be designed and developed through the combination of Java Web framework technology,HTML5,RIA and Mysql database technology,including user management,teaching resources management,experiment management,experiment booking,online browsing of document,achievement evaluation,discussion topics and other functional modules.And in order to ensure the safety of the system,a digest authentication of image authentication code based on Ajax technology is developed,and MD5 encryption algorithm is adopted to ensure the security of the information transmission.This system integrates the online networking virtual simulation experiment and experimental teaching management into a unified platform to meet the requirements of experimental teaching.The students can conduct network experiment operation and acquire learning resources by remote login,which enhances the flexibility of the experiment and promotes the students' study.Teachers can better understand and evaluate students' learning situation,and manage the experiment more quickly,so as to reduce the workload and improve efficiency.
