Research On Network Collective Action In Chinese Social Media

In 1999,the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia was bombed by American warplanes,resulting in the death of Shao Yunhuan,Xu Xinghu and Zhu Ying,and the tragic death of dozens of people.Chinese people have taken to the streets,accusing the United States of hegemonism.In order to express the strong condemnation of Chinese netizens on American air strikes,the people's network launched the "great power BBS".The establishment of "great power BBS" marks the birth of Chinese network collective action.Over the past ten years,China's network collective action gradually from immature to mature.As the latest form of China's online collective action,the emperor has demonstrated the transformation process of Chinese network collective action from spontaneous to conscious,the guerrilla to the regular army.Nowadays,China's social governance is gradually moving from the real world to the virtual world.As a powerful online force,the emperor is supposed to be the object of attention.Based on the theory of network activism,the theory of innovation diffusion and the theory of using and satisfying,this paper mainly adopts the method of virtual ethnography and depth interview,supplemented by questionnaire and rooted theory.This paper discusses the development history,the type,characteristics,influence,motivation and reward of emperor bar's expedition,and provides some reference plans for China's network governance.The first,second chapter describes the background and significance of the research,defines the related concepts,reviews the literature,and puts forward the research questions related to the emperor bar's expedition.The third chapter has combed the development of China's network collective action and the evolution mechanism of the emperor's expedition.The fourth chapter,through the method of questionnaire survey,we can find out the status quo of the participants and obtain their demographic characteristics and ways of action.The fifth chapter has made a in-depth discussion on the network action of China from three aspects of history,motivation and characteristics.The sixth chapter,combined with the current situation of network governance,puts forward specific and feasible strategies for China's network governance.In the last chapter,the limitations of the research are discussed and the future research is prospected.
