Design And Implementation Of Database Management System For Professional Clothing

As the foundation of technological development of clothing,human body contour supports standardization of clothing production.Sufficient and wide-covered data have been used to analyze whether a model fits with the person or not.However,it costs long time to gain the data.How to put up a data services platform which supports garment manufacturers,involving costume design,standard research,model design,digital applications and so on,is studied.Structure,attribute,application of the data are the crucial features of the data platform,and the application of body data on clothes is also valuable.In response to the questions above,a relatively complete data system has been set up.On one hand,the system classifies the size of human body,according to different garment standard to establish corresponding cut size.On the other hand,body data accumulation strategy are discussed referring to tracking sample of individual,studying the changes of samples as time passing by.Based on analyzing data in groups,the system explores the contour in different size,regions and ages.As the data get increased,the system supports not only the size design of custom-clothing,but also the country's human contour database construction and the regional contour research.The paper presents a complete description of analysis and design for the system,including database design and implementation.By using SQL Server 2005,Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 to implement the construction of the database features and finally shows how to accomplish an interactive graphical user interface with silver-light.
