Research On Construction Of Obstacle And Graphic Sematic Pattern Library For Blind Navigation

There is a big increase in the number of blind and visually impaired people each year.The blind navigation also has always been a very hot topic research,but how to let the blind in the travel have an immersive navigation mode is always a difficulty.In this paper,the author constructed a mode library for the blind's travel navigation by constructing the obstacle and the schematic semantic pattern library,and provided the basic semantic information support for the blind walking.The main contents of this paper were:(1)Classification of obstacles and graphic guide marks in the navigation of the blind.There were four types of obstacles and the guide signs of the picture and text:(1)Obstacle: the rubbish bin,electric pole,vehicle,pedestrian and other obstacles.(2)Channel: generally included indoor or outdoor footstep elevators,stairs,etc.(3)Text message: referred to elevator shaft drawing card,guiding sign,etc.(4)Text message:position of the object,direction indicator information,toilet sign,etc.(2)Target image processing based on computer vision.Due to the factors such as ambient light in the image collection,the experimental result was affected.And the image was pretreated before feature extraction.Pretreatment mainly included image filtering,grayscale conversion,image segmentation and so on.(3)Based on the obstacle of computer vision and the structure mode of image and text guiding symbol.The mode extraction was mainly extracted from the outer contour information of the obstacle and the characteristic information of the guide sign.The information of the model library was established,and the model library was established.(4)Construction of the semantic pattern of the obstacle and the graphic guide mark.After all information was extracted,it needed to store the build pattern library.The Post GIS was the use of all information model for storage,and stored the basic information of the object.It mainly included the obstacles of the characteristics of the outer contour information,graphic guide mark information,the feature information of the characters,the characters of guide mark characteristic information,etc.(5)The realization and application of the semantic pattern library of obstacles andgraphic and text guiding signs.After the model library was built,the model library was used to verify the accuracy of the model library.The main research results of this paper were: created a service to the blind navigation pattern library.Using basic pattern library,the blinds can realize the recognition of surrounding environment.At the same time,it can meet the needs of the safety of body and mind to the blind,and guide the blind travel safely.The innovation point of this paper was to propose the way to construct the mode library to store the information of obstacles and graphic semantics,and to realize the navigation of blind people according to the contents of the mode library.
