In order to monitor the operation status of power equipment and networks,or obtain alarm,fault information and collect user data,massive sensor nodes are deployed in the area of the power grid.They form wireless sensor networks to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the smart grid.In the process of monitoring,there are problems such as long transmission distance or high coverage requirements.If the sensor nodes networking and communication modes are not effectively managed,monitoring vulnerabilities or a large amount of redundant and invalid data may be brought.By deploying a certain number of relay nodes and reasonable cooperation among nodes,the monitoring requirements of smart grid can be more fully and reliably realized.It is of great significance to study the deployment algorithm of relay nodes in wireless multi-hop network for smart grid monitoring.Sensors are battery-powered,and its energy is not easy to supply.To prolong the life cycle of sensor cooperative networks,the subject focuses on how to deploy relay nodes to save energy of sensors.The reasonable deployment of relay nodes can not only prolong the sensors life,but also guarantee the reliable transmission of sensing data.However,when faced with transmission problems such as long distance,high delay requirement or limited spectrum,it is difficult for ordinary communication nodes to reliably complete the relay task.In this case,Ad Hoc cognitive radio networks are introduced as mobile relays.Using the characteristics such as spectrum advantage and mobility,the networking is completed adaptively.The sensors energy is saved,the utilization rate of the network resource is increased,and the end-to-end channel is rapidly established,which can effectively solve the above problems.Therefore,this paper aims to study the deployment of wireless sensor multi-hop relay nodes to save energy in the background of smart grid.As follows:1)Aiming at the problem of relay deployment in node fixed scenario,a fixed relay deployment algorithm for wireless sensor networks is proposed.First,the relay nodes that cover all sensors are placed with shortest communication distance of sensors,and each relay node act as cluster head.Then,based on the perceived intensity and the distribution of nodes,sensors in every cluster are divided into subsets.The subset of each cluster collaboratively work and sleep to seek balance between the coverage and energy.The simulation results show that in the area of a large number of sensors deployed,the proposed algorithm can effectively save the network energy,maintain the coverage of the area and prolong the life cycle of network.2)Aiming at the problem of relay deployment in node mobility scenarios,a relay deployment algorithm based on the hybrid of sensors and Ad Hoc wireless cognitive networks is proposed.Cognitive wireless nodes move in the sensor network.According to the location and distribution of nodes,sensors are clustered by cognitive nodes,and they play the role of cluster head and relay.In each cluster,full coverage subsets are selected and their working hours are scheduled by the energy distribution.The simulation results show that this strategy can reduce network energy consumption and delay while guaranteeing the quality of monitoring,and it can prolong network lifetime effectively.
