In the 5G era of vigorously developing the Internet of things and green communication technology,the behavior of relay cooperation between nodes will be more regular in wireless sensor networks,and the cooperative communication technology will be more widely developed and applied.Therefore,it has important theoretical significance and practical application value on the research of energy saving algorithm in relay cooperation technology.This paper focuses on the research and improvement of energy-saving relay selection algorithm in wireless sensor networks.The main contents and work are as follows:Firstly,starting with the development history and practical application environment of wireless sensor networks,the development,the key technologies and the future research directions of cooperative communication are analyzed and summarized.The research work of this paper is focuses on the selection of relay nodes which is an important direction in cooperative communication technology.Secondly,a flexible energy-saving relay selection algorithm based on AHP is proposed for energy-constrained wireless sensor networks.In this algorithm,a central control unit is used to reduce the energy loss caused by receiving broadcast packets by too many relay nodes on the premise that the information reliable transmission is guaranteed.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to select relay nodes considering various factors.According to different network states,the weights suitable for various factors in the network are set flexibly,which makes the algorithm more flexible and adaptive.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm can effectually reduce the energy consumption of network and prolong the network life.Finally,cooperative relay is applied to wireless sensor networks with energy harvesting,and an energy-saving relay selection algorithm based on the criterion of receiving signal-to-noise ratio of destination node is constructed.In the relay selection process,the nodes with sufficient energy and the ability to correctly decode the source information is selected as candidate relays.In order to ensure the reliability of information transmission,the relay nodes which can maximize the signal-to-noise ratio can be selected from the candidate set for cooperation.The algorithm not only realizes energy harvesting but also combines relay selection technology,which has certain advantages in improving the performance of the network.
