In order to meet the needs of information sharing and high-capacity transmission in the space network,space satellite network based on the optical communication technology has become the demand and trend of information network development in recent years.Based on this background,we have adopted the space network structure of backbone network and access network,used the LEO and MEO satellites to make up the access network,and used the GEO satellites to make up the backbone ring network.To improve the data transmission capacity and data exchange capacity of the GEO satellites backbone network,we have used laser link and optical burst switching in the satellite backbone network.On this basis,we have finally designed the access and handoff mechanism of the optical burst switching backbone network and verified the mechanism by a semi physical experiment platform.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.The research of this part is to study on the optical burst switching backbone network under centralized control.We have divided GEO satellite nodes into master and slave nodes,and designed the basic network operation mechanism of centralized control and management by the master node.Considering the changing of satellite communication topology and the limited resources on the satellite,we have designed the access and handoff mechanism of the backbone network and the frame structure of the key control frame,using the longest effective communication time strategy.2.The research of this part is to study on the optical burst switching backbone network under distributed control.In the backbone network,the GEO satellite nodes are equal to each other.Each node shares control information through the control channel,and completes the management of the satellite and the ground station respectively under its own coverage.In order to solve the delay problem of token transmission mechanism,the data channels have been divided into two types.Data channel ? can transport service between Adjacent GEO satellite nodes without token,and data channel ? can transport other service by token.This design weakens the dependence of the data transmission on the token under the distributed control,and enhances the access and handoff efficiency of the network.On this basis,this paper has completed the design of the access and handoff mechanism of the backbone ring network under distributed control.3.To simulate communication scenes of access and handoff in GEO satellite backbone network and verify access and handoff mechanism proposed in this paper,we have designed a semi physical experiment platform.Moreover,the hardware implementation of the platform has been accomplished through Xilinx Kintex7 high-speed FPGA,SFP optical module sub board,optical switching matrix and so on.Finally,we verified the feasibility of the access and handoff mechanism in the paper through the experiment platform.
