Currently,existing research concerning quality evaluation of channel mainly focus on equipment layer and network layer in optical access network with a lack of synthesis evaluation models covering physical layer,network layer and business layer.Consequently,it is difficult for administrators to completely and accurately judge the actual quality of channel by network monitoring.Based on this fact,we firstly study the channel quality evaluation model in optical access network.Then we further design and implement a channel quality evaluation module in order to assess channel quality completely,rapidly and accurately.First of all,with the aim to improve the channel quality assessment system in previous optical access networks,we analyze the key factors influencing the channel quality from the perspectives of physical layer,network layer and business layer.Then we conduct a further study on the key technologies of channel quality analysis,and propose a channel quality evaluation model based on SA-BP(Simulated Annealing-Back Propagation)neural network improved algorithm.The model includes the establishment of a multi-layer-multi-index channel quality evaluation index system and the design of a SA-BP neural network improved algorithm to train multi-index parameters in optical access networks.The simulation results indicate that our model can assess channel quality,and it has greater accuracy and stability.In addition,this model can improve the quality and efficiency of network operation and maintenance.Secondly,according to our model,we design and implement a channel quality evaluation module.The module includes three parts:channel quality analysis,distribution and historical trend.Our module can help administrators to gain the knowledge of channel quality,its distribution and historical trend in optical access networks completely,rapidly and accurately.It can also improve the ability and efficiency of network operation and maintenance,and ensure the reliability and stability of network effectively.Besides,it provides a basis for business route optimization and expansion.Finally,our module is applied to optical access network of a province.The results illustrate that all subfunctions operate normally and its results are correct.It also proves the correctness and stability of model and the effectiveness and practicality of module.
