With the rapidly development of economy,the demand of going out for the public is increasing.Accordingly,private car ownership has increased year by year.Many domestic first-tier cities and second-tier cities suffer from traffic jam.Ridesharing is a way which alleviates urban traffic congestion.In recently years,domestic ridesharing based on Internet experienced a rapid development.While in Oct.2016,regulations about car-hailing released by the local governments attract a widely concern and dispute which indicates domestic ridesharing is still in an explored phase.So it's meaningful to carry on research on private car ridesharing.Considering all the condition above,the paper builds a system based on Android platform which can match rides among drivers and passengers,which aims to explore the pattern of private car ridesharing.The whole system contains server,Android client,database,three parts.It fulfills functions about users'(passengers and drivers)ride info,including the publishing,store,matching.Specific research mainly includes the following two aspects:(1)The construct of ridesharing model.Based on existing research results and individual experience,the paper concludes main elements in ridesharing model.Usually,the elements include location(origin,destination),time,the number of passengers,detour distance,ride cost and so on.There exist two elements in this paper:main elements,covering origin,destination,time,drivers' flexible time,the number of passenger,the number of available seat;secondary elements,covering driver's advice,the preference of passenger,including punctuality,car sharing,female driver,taking luggages.Meanwhile,the paper takes the concept of buffer in GIS into account to construct ridesharing model.Buffering can simplified the process of match among drivers and passengers.Eventually the paper evaluates advantages and disadvantages of ridesharing model,simultaneously,proposes three suggestions to optimize the model.(2)The design and implement of ridesharing system.The system has three parts:server,Android client,databases.In the server part,Apache Tomcat is the web server which is in charge of responsing to requests from Android client including operations of submitting,querying,deleting,store;at the same time,the ridesharing model runs in web server.The database in the system is MySQL,which is mainly used to add,delete,alter or query info of drivers and passengers.In this part,the work is the design of tables and settling the relationship among tables.Android client is constructed based on Baidu Map,there exists some modules like register and login,user's info editting,user's ride info publishing,scanning,display,users' chatting.
