Design And Implementation Of A Private Cloud Client For Android

Private cloud is defined as a kind of cloud storage devices which is only used by the user privately. The user can store and access data at anytime, anywhere, through any Internet terminal which could be connected to the cloud. More and more users are tending to use the private cloud storage, because of the data security issues in the public cloud.This project is based on the practical company project. The author is responsible for the design and implementation of a client application which is based on Android. It aims to support the interactive data operations between the private cloud storage and the users.The author’s work could be summarized as follows:(1) In the phase of requirements analysis, the author participates in the system’s demand analysis and then does some documentation work.(2) In the phase of design and implementation, the author took part in design and development of the system core modules.1) The backup and restore of the address book are implemented at the client-side.2) The backup and restore of the SMS are implemented at the client-side.3) Cloud file processing are implemented at the client-side, including create new folders, delete and the files and folders and so on.4) The pictures in client-side can be directly uploaded to the cloud after taking at the client-side.(3) In the phase of system testing, the author has completed functional testing of the core modules, and draws up the testing plans, test examples.This paper finally implemented the client application of private cloud on Android system. The client fully started on the application platform.
