With the rapid development of ship and AUV technology,controlling the radiated noise of underwater structures draws growing attention.Research on radial sound field characteristics of underwater structures means great significance on the noise control.The measurement of sound intensity is an efficient tool for the analysis of sound radiation field characteristics.From this point of view,a configuration program of sound intensity measurement system is designed in this paper.A measurement system software basing on the crosspower method is developed.Through theoretical analysis of the sound field,the sound intensity of the radiation characteristics analysis of sound intensity analysis methods were studied.Several sound intensity measurement techniques were compared,for sound intensity measurement,we analyzed the advantages of crosspower law.Crosspower sound intensity measurement method,mainly using the phase and amplitude of the pressure change in the sound propagation direction of two sound similar position to calculate the sound intensity.The system scheme is designed for the sound intensity measurement of specific underwater structure,a set of measurement software is implemented basing on the LabVIEW development platform.The fields of test and measurement where LabVIEW virtual instrument technology is applied to are introduced,then the development process of LabVIEW virtual instrument is discussed,a sound intensity measurement software basing on the crosspower method is then developed by the platform of LabVIEW virtual instrument technique.Main function of the software includes the host control of the entire measurement system,and post process and analysis of collected data.Function of each module of the sound intensity measurement system software are tested using unit testing,then system test is carried out.The software is verified by comparing theoretical solution and simulation results of radiate field of point source and dipole source.A sound intensity measurement experiment is designed for the further verification of our software,radiate sound field of force excited steel plate and point source are measured.Using the data collected in experiment as input,the analysis result shows that the requirements of software are fulfilled,task of measurement control and analyzing and post processing of data can be completed correctly.
