With the development of Ethernet technology and the popularity of embedded platform,more and more image processing system are using embedded Ethernet as a data transmission program,making it improved in the volume,power consumption,portability and other aspects.However,the real-time image transmission of the larger amount of data,real-time and storage space have a higher demand,to use the traditional TCP/IP protocol family,the image data needs to be transmited in several layers when processing encapsulation or decapsulation,resulting in increased latency and storage space.To this end,the streamlining of TCP/IP protocol is designed to meet specific application of data access and transmission mechanism,improving real-time image transmission in the transmission delay and storage space.SOPC is a FPGA-based on-chip high-performance embedded system,with Hardware and software co-design feature.With the SOPC platform and the specific needs of the application,it is flexible to design sutible transmission scheme.This paper mainly studies the image transmission technology based on SOPC and high-speed Ethernet,and then completes the hardware and software design and the implementation of Ethernet interface controller.Aiming at the problem of increasing the storage space and extending the transmission time for the multi-layer data transmission,the method of using the underlying data memory sharing is optimized,and the time delay is further reduced by using the data processing method for real-time image data.The main contents of the paper include the following aspects:(1)The Zynq7000 series SOPC platform 10 interface technology is studied and the connection technology of Ethernet interface is studied emphatically.(2)Studied the performance requirements of Ethernet interface in different occasions.(3)According to the requirement of embedded application in Ethernet interface,the hardware and software architecture of Ethernet controller is analyzed,and a high performance Ethernet interface is designed and implemented.After the hardware and software designs of the Ethernet interface are implemented,the ZC702 evaluation board and the Microzed 7010 evaluation board are used for the measurement of the rate and link delay.The design is embedded in the image processing system to improve the real-time performance of the image processing system and reduce the program the amount of code and the required storage space.
