Research On Color Quality Evaluation And Color Quality Improvement Method Of Hard Copy Output

Color hard copy output technology continues to mature,a wide range of output devices and materials.Due to the different equipment,printing carrier and the use of other factors,so that the output of hardcopy color image control factors,color performance varies.Thus,the output process is often the case even if the implementation of the normal color management process,but the color quality is also uneven.Firstly,this paper studies the evaluation method of the color reproduction quality of hard copy output.The paper presents four typical memory colors of skin color,grass green,sky blue and rape yellow as the evaluation points of output color performance,according to the subjective evaluation,the visual perception level is correlated with the objective chromaticity value to form a color copy quality evaluation method based on the objective measure.The method extracts 120,50,45 and 15 characteristic colors of skin color,grass green,sky blue and rape flower,respectively,thereby forming a color patch which characterizes each memory color.Prints the color target and the corresponding feature color images.Through the visual perception of the output images with different chromaticity,it is determined that the perception of brightness,chroma and hue change is the best,and the pattern corresponding to the maximum increase and decrease can be accepted;According to subjective determination of the color code corresponding to the color scale values,formed a typical memory color of the best and most acceptable variation of color scale color value distribution curve,and use this curve as a measure of output color quality measurement scale,According to the relationship between the actual output color scale chromaticity value curve and scale curve,the output color quality is evaluated from the three dimensions of lightness,chroma and hue.As a result,the goal of giving a stable evaluation of subjective perceived quality of color based on objective measurement of alimited number of color patches is achieved.The effectiveness of this method is verified by applying experiments.In addition,the paper aims at the problem of poor output color of skin color,and studies the ICC Profile File Format Specification and LUT Color Conversion Model Theory,according to the result of the color quality evaluation method established by this paper,editing the color information of the relevant grid points in the ICC profile LUT,achieve the purpose of improving the output of the skin color equipment.Through experimental comparison,the feasibility and effectiveness of this method are verified.
