Nowdays intelligent manufacturing has become the direction of manufacturing.Meanwhile,"integrated engineering design" and "transparent factory" has been possible,and network plays an important role within them,PLC control system has been gradually converted from stand alone type and closed type into open type,which have the networking and integrating characteristics.In order to improve students' competitiveness of employment and to supply students better opportunities to learn advanced PLC technology,the establishment of PLC comprehensive experimental platform is imperative.According to the comparison and research,this subject takes Siemens S7-1200 PLC and S7-1500 PLC as the core,introducing industrial Ethernet into local level and building up a control system with flexible network structure,which can build level 2 network system and level 3 system.The management level is the integration layer of the control and information system indicating and monitoring the experimental management of the whole network system.The control level processes the received field level device data,performs commands such as field level release,start or stop,and receiving management level information.Field level is responsible for field level equipment control and inspection.To make students have a better understanding of actual industrial production during the experimental process,this comprehensive platform designs to put Hardware device in the control cabinet,which not only ensures the safety of students but also makes it convenient to maintenance equipment.Students can gradually acquire the technical characteristics and use of Siemens PLC with the setting-up of comprehensive experimental platform.By using the industrial Ethernet PROFINET communication protocol with unified network structure,students can efficiently accomplish control tasks during the experiment teaching.The lab is connected as a unified whole,achieving the network integration and management and control integration.To enrich the communication modes,each PLC is equipped with RS-232 and RS-485 communication modules,nearly containing all the communication link ways of Siemens.Students can have a better grasp of network technology and build the concept of network.In addition,HMI touch screen and configuration software are added to learn,which imitates the industrial scene better.Constant pressure water supply system,automation loading system and servo-controlled uniaxial system are designed based on this comprehensive experimental platform.These system controls are steady and works well,being able to realize the practical operation of imitating industrial scene.The development of this platform not only provides students advanced skills in the field of industrial control,but also offers platform for teachers'researches and students' graduation projects.
