With the development of Internet industry, the scale of data users is increasing rapidly, the content of network applications is becoming more and more abundant, and the requirement of users and service contents for the quality of communication network is getting higher and higher.Only high-quality communication network and rich types of services can really attract users.LTE communication network conforms to the market demand and the technical development, which has started the large-scale construction. At the beginning of network construction, network coverage and capacity are hard to meet the demands of the rapid development services, and the rapid deployment of services always lead to the pressure of income and index. Therefore, how to make good use of limited construction costs and network resources is particularly important.Nowadays,as a new generation of data service network,LTE in most areas don't support voice service at the moment.Operators increase LTE equipments on the basis of original base stations to deploy network in most areas. But because of the difference of network frequency, the replacement of technology and the changes of users' applications and service habits, many areas are covered with "empty holes",which affect the experience of mobile users for LTE network seriously. In this paper, through the collection and analysis of multi-aspect information,we use data and theoretical knowledge to guide network construction and solve the contradiction between service demand and network status maximum in the premise of ensuring investment resources controllable.According to the actual network coverage, the combination of planning and optimization can effectively reduce the construction resources and duration of the project which plays a deeper role in network optimization.Under the condition of the limited base stations,we choose representative cluster to implement several kinds of optimization methods and obtain overall evaluation result so as to gain time window and extend construction period for the project construction. The main work of this paper is as followed:(1)Through analyzing the development and the present situation of LTE network?combing and integrating the optimization method,we determine to improve the LTE network by coverage evaluation, summarize four kinds of optimization methods and choose power control and adaptive coding as the key parameters.(2)Choose the overall local network of a city as research object, use link budget principle to select network model, and estimate the coverage performance of co-site planning based on CDMA.Analysis the LTE network coverage from the macro point, find out some possible weak coverage areas listed as key research objectives to lay the foundation for further coverage assessment planning, and provide guidance for preliminary construction.(3)According to the evaluation results of co-site planning coverage,we choose representative dense urban cluster as object and use MR grid method to further study coverage.By comparing MR overlay with road survey overlay, overall consideration of indoor and outdoor RSRP?directional distribution and service data, more precise guidance for the construction of the project is provided.(4)On the condition that the base stations are limited and the construction period is long,we choose urban cluster and suburban village cluster for optimization.Make good use of the existed network resources to maximum solve the contradiction between service demand and network status.During the improvement of network construction "filling point",we provide window period for engineering construction which can help the operation and development of service. The research of this paper has certain reference value for improving the deployment of LTE network and optimizing the network of key areas.
