Research And Practice On The Key Problems Of VoLTE Network Optimization

VoLTE(Voice over LTE)is a kind of voice service solution which bears on the long-term evolution(LTE)network.It can unify both voice and data services on the same 4G network,in which the voice service is realized by the full IP bearing channel provided by the LTE evolved universal terrestrial radio access network(E-UTRAN)and evolved packet core network(EPC).From an intuitive point of view of the user,VoLTE brings shorter access times and better quality of call effects.Compared with 2G/3G networks,the voice call quality of VoLTE can be increased by about 40%,access delay(dial-up waiting time)reduced by about 50%.From a long-term point of view of commercial operators,Vo LTE brings values in two aspects: the one is to reduce the cost of the network.LTE has achieved the full IP architecture having only packet switching(PS)domain and no circuit switching(CS)domain.The voice service in E-UTRAN network is loaded by VoIP;the other one is to enhance the user awareness.VoLTE user perception of voice service is obviously superior to the traditional CS-based 2G/3G voice service.Its call quality has been significantly improved after the introduction of high difinition voice and video codec.Its calling and call duration have significantly reduced than CS-based calling.Some fruitful communication services such as high-definition voice will create more market values.At present,Vo LTE has covered most provinces,cities and regions,and VoLTE service has been officially commercialized.However,from the point of view of user perception,there are still problems such as single pass,swallow word,drop call and so on during the phase of VoLTE network communication.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the quality of Vo LTE network by studying the key problems in the optimization of VoLTE networks combined with practical engineering cases and providing feasible solutions.In this thesis,the problems of VoLTE technology network optimization are studied.First of all,the research background,significance and current situation at home and abroad have been expounded.According to the development of LTE network,the difference between SvLTE(Simultaneous Voice and LTE)and CSFB(Circuit Switched Fall Back)and Vo LTE is compared,and the Vo LTE technology background,advantages,network structure,key technologies and main signaling processes are analyzed.Then,according to the challenge and user demand of VoLTE network,the optimization target is defined.Based on Vo LTE network optimization tool and method,the problems exposed by wireless network are studied deeply,and the detailed solution is put forward.Taking T city as a pilot,the typical cases of Vo LTE network optimization practice are analyzed.Finally,the full text is summarized,the deficiencies in the optimization process of Vo LTE wireless network are pointed out,and further work is expected.This thesis focuses on the key issues related to the optimization of VoLTE network in T City,and puts forward a perfect solution.Comparison of the performance evaluation index before and after the implementation of the network optimization scheme,the practical results show that this design scheme can effectively solve the problem of VoLTE wireless network,especially the practical problems occurred in users use the network.Thereby the quality of network has improved.Through the research on key problems in VoLTE network optimization and put forward practical solutions to meet the requirements of high quality and low delay performance of IP-based voice service,the overall upgrading of user perception can be realized,which is prepared for the future development of wireless network.
