With the continuous improvement of computer software and hardware technology,hardwarein-the-loop simulation system has shown strong application advantages and development prospects in many fields.As an important part of infrared imaging guidance simulation system,the use of infrared scene simulation system in measuring photoelectric reconnaissance equipment performance has always been the research hotpot.The high fidelity of infrared scene simulation system is the foundation to be widely used,so how to evaluate the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system quantitatively becomes very important.The main content of this paper is to verify and evaluate the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system.In this paper,the index of fidelity evaluation for infrared scene simulation system system is studied by the analysis of the factors affecting the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system.The comprehensive and quantitative assessment of fidelity of infrared scene simulation system is completed by using experimental data.In addition,the problems of joint regulation of parameters in infrared scene simulation system are solved in this paper.The hierarchical,quantitative and comprehensive fidelity evaluation scheme and index system is studied on the basis of the study of infrared scene simulation system.The suggestions of modeling and simulation is also summarized in the building of high fidelity infrared scene simulation system.This paper is divided into four parts:Firstly,the main problems of infrared scene simulation system evaluation are discussed and analyzed in this paper.Combining the research status,the concept of fidelity evaluation is deeply analyzed and some problems in the fidelity evaluation of infrared scene simulation system are summarized and analyzed in the paper.Secondly,the factors affecting the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system are modeled and analyzed.The study content of infrared scene simulation system is decomposed into three independent modules,the digital IR simulation scene,the DMD infrared simulator and the combined control projection.The main problems in the assessment of the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system are analysed based on the analysis of full link modeling and simulation.At the same time,the problem of coupling control of the blackbody temperature of the target simulator and the quantization range of the infrared digital scene is also solved.Thirdly,hierarchical test scheme is designed according to the key influencing factors of infrared scene simulation system.A large number of test data is collected by using UAV,infrared imager,thermometer,infrared target simulator and other equipments.At the same time,the simulation data is also collected with the same conditions with field experiment.Through the pretreatment of experimental data and simulation data,typical data analysis methods and image processing algorithms are used to analyze and compare the experimental data and simulation data.In the end,combined with the key factors affecting the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system and the results of the analysis of experimental data,the evaluation index system for the fidelity of IR scene simulation system is studied.On the basis of research project,the fidelity of a certain type of infrared scene simulation platform is verified and evaluated.In addition,a series of principles and suggestions of building high fidelity IR scene simulation system are given according to the process and results of the evaluation of the fidelity of infrared scene simulation system.
