Simulation of infrared scene technology not only provides necessary image samples for target recognition and tracking, but also has very important research significance and extensive application prospect for training of infrared radiation computation, evaluation and testing of infrared system, and so on.A simulation of infrared scene method based on target feature model and modern programmable GPU (graphics processing unit) was presented after researching on the development of the simulation technique. First of all, building up 3D model of target based on actual measurement, characteristic model of target temperature and emissivity, then utilizing the powerful parallel data processing ability of modern GPU, and the infrared radiation computation model of the scene is achieved on the GPU directly, finally, a secondly development on the 3D Graphic romance Engine of Open Source was carried out, completing the 3D infrared scene romance of target and ground scene, as well as the drive and collision detection for the target on the surface, initial implement a higher accuracy and efficiency 3D simulation platform of infrared scene.
