In recent years,the Internet of things(IoT)has developed very rapidly.Traditional wireless communication technologies,such as WIFI,Bluetooth and so on,are difficult to fully meet the requirements of the IoT in terms of coverage and energy consumption.Therefore,Low Power Wide Area(LPWA)technology was proposed.Among these LPWA technologies,LoRa is widely paid attention by industry because of its features such as strong anti-interference,low-cost and easy to deploy.Based on the LoRa system,this thesis designed and implemented a cloud platform for LPWA.The services provided by cloud platform can reduce the difficulty of developing IoT applications and greatly improve the efficiency of developing IoT applications.This thesis first briefly introduces the technical points and network architecture of LoRa,and illustrates the key advantages of LoRa.The basic LoRa network is composed of terminal nodes,gateways,and network server.The network server can manage and monitor the network which is composed of nodes and gateways.Then,the architecture of the cloud platform for LPWA is designed in this thesis.Compared with the traditional cloud platform,network server is added to the cloud platform for LPWA.The network server which connects the cloud platform and LoRa network is the research emphasis.Then,this thesis further designed the network server.According to its function,the network server is divided into data communication module,data analysis module,database service module,network control module and the controller module.According to this design,this thesis implements a web server and validates it.Finally,an air quality monitoring system was implemented based on the cloud platform for LPWA.In this system,monitoring nodes can collect air quality information in real time and upload it to the cloud platform.Users can view the collected air quality information through the Web page.Through this monitoring system,this thesis validates the effectiveness of the designed cloud services.
