| After Japan surrendered in August 1945,China won a brief period of peace.The two parties,the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,competed for public opinion and each of them established a number of publications.Communist Party member Yao Yao,in his own name,and a progressive person,Wang Yuzhong,established the monthly "China Construction" in a private manner.At the beginning of its founding,"China Construction" monthly issued a banner for democracy and peace.It issued a slogan:"We wish the nation can understand the purpose of the people,eliminate envy,and create harmony." From its inaugural publication in 1945 to its close publication in 1949,the monthly "China Construction" published many articles worthy of study during the period of publication.Through these medium issues,we can see the direction of public opinion at that time.The author intends to analyze the domestic construction reports from the monthly "China Construction" magazine,interpret the trend of public opinion,explain the characteristics and attitudes of the publications of the private newspapers,and demonstrate the social roles they play in a special period,in order to reveal the risks that the media in the society should bear.Responsibility will provide a useful reference for how the media can better care for the national economy and the people's livelihood.The article is divided into four parts.The introduction mainly introduces the origin of the research and the purpose of the study.The "China Construction" monthly magazine survived for three-year period of civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.It must have its unique characteristics in its content and form.Therefore,the author hopes that he can fill the gaps in the study of the "China Construction" monthly,and it can also help the future generations to further the study.The first chapter discusses the origin of the monthly "China Construction" under the context of the KMT-CPC civil war.After Japan surrendered,the Kuomintang rebuilt and developed their news propaganda network in Shanghai,controlled and persecuted dissident news organizations,and attempted to monopolize the nation's news media.The KMT's news monopoly policy first met the challenge of Communist Party journals.The Communist Party,in its own name,united with progressive people,using private methods to report in Shanghai.In this environment,in September 1945,Wang Yuzhong founded the "China Construction".Monthly.The Chinese Communist Party sent Gao Zuwen and Yu Xiang to participate in the work of the "China Construction" monthly publication.Well-known scholars Jiang Qingxiang,Zhai Ke,and Yao Hao were regular writers of "China Construction." the promotion of industrial and agricultural construction,stabilization of prices,and implements reform of domestic fiscal policies;on ethnic issues,it actively cares for the political and cultural life of all ethnic groups in China and contributes to the unity of ethnic minorities,and actively advocates independent foreign policy;In the education of enlightenment,it provides suggestions for the reform of the education mechanism,attaches importance to the cultivation of the ideological character of the people,and in the promotion of freedom of speech and freedom of the press,it realizes the expression of the protection of personal rights.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics and positions of the domestic reports in the "China Construction" monthly magazine.First of all,from the three aspects of scientific content,rich subject themes,and active guidance of social media,this paper expounds the characteristics of the "China Construction" monthly publication.Under the special media environment in Shanghai,the monthly "China Construction" is based on intellectuals and adheres to scientific and rational propaganda and struggle methods.Its articles are plentiful and
