In the traditional Internet,IP address not only represents the identity of the terminal node,but also implies the location of the node in the network.The ambiguity of this IP address is one of the main reasons leading to poor network scalability and insufficient mobility support.The New Internet architecture adopts the separation mapping mechanism to relieve the ambiguity of the traditional IP address.This separation mapping mechanism needs a complete Mapping System to provide the new Internet with a dynamic update/query function of the mapping relationship of the terminal node.This paper first analyzes the protocol standards related to the separation mapping mechanism and the research progress,then summarizes the problems to be solved in the current period of the New Internet,puts forward the Hierarchical Mapping System applicable to the New Internet,designs Mapping Publish Protocol and Mapping Query Protocol which are used to update and query mapping relations.Based on the above design,the Mapping System was successfully implemented in the Fedora operating system and NeoKylin operating system.The Mapping System program was completed and the basic functions of the Mapping System were realized.In order to improve the performance and reliability of the mapping server,this dissertation provides the disaster recovery backup function for the mapping table.This dissertation designed and implemented the mapping table for the mapping server and achieved the functions of multi-table master-slave synchronization and read-write separation.The query request of the mapping relationship is allocated in each synchronized mapping table as required.At the same time the mapping server hardware and performance automation monitoring services was completed.At last,functional testing,performance testing and disaster tolerance testing were applied to the Hierarchical Mapping System.In the part of functional testing,the wireshark is used to capture and analyze the packets in the process of communication between mapping servers,which proves the feasibility of the Hierarchical Mapping System.In the part of performance testing,the speed of query and update mapping tables are listed.In the disaster tolerance testing,a mapping table of the simulated mapping server stops working,as a result,the query request for the mapping relationship can be allocated to the rest of the server Table,proved the feasibility of load balancing and disaster recovery capabilities.
