Abstract/Summary:
The current Internet facing with the challenge of routing scalability,safety and reliability and the mobile support,the next generation Internet network architecture has become a hot topic.Location and identity separated network decoupling the identity and location of the IP address semantic,the routing tables are highly aggregated in the edge routers,and it provide a solution for large-scale routing,host mobility,traffic engineering.Therefore,the idea of separating identifiers(ID)from routable locators has been attracting a lot of attentions.Location and identity separated network,such as LISP(Locator / ID Separation Protocol),and establishing the mapping between the identifier and locator by mapping system.It provide the identifier-to-locator mapping query service the separated network infrastructure.The existing mapping system are insufficient such as high query delay and mapping storage scalability.This paper based on unstructured identifier to study mapping technology,the main work and innovations are as follows:1.We propose scheme to support unstructured user identifier,it based on MR(MapResolver)indirect positioning mapping server(Map-Server)and distributed mapping system model IMap(Indirect Mapping).Different with existing LISP layered network of different mechanisms,IMap based IP routing infrastructure to implement the mapping request from MR to the MS,it behaves well in routing,deployment,flexibility and scalability.2.We have deep look inside of IMap mapping system,and design the data structure on MM,MS and MR core data structure and communication protocol between MM,MR and MS.We based on socket programming framework to achieve the core of IMap system –MR.3.We based on core and edge separated network of CNGI(China Next Generation Internet),and designed the mapping system prototype.The experimental results show that IMap mapping system prototype achieves good balance in query delay,mapping storage scalability,the packet processing overhead.IMap mapping system prototype has been applied in the State 863 Project "key technologies and the new Dynamic Network Authentication".In summary,IMap mapping model achieves high performance,routing scalability,and low mapping query latency.It provide a new solution for the mapping system of separated network,and it has theoretical value and practical value.
