The Ethernet Communication System Based On S3C2410A

The embedded system is a kind of the special computer systems combining software and hardware tightly.With the constant progress of computer technique,microelectronic technique,semiconductor technique,communication technique,and image and speech transmission technique etc,the various techniques of the embedded system have been developed rapidly,which are used in various fields and cover every corner of production and life.This project takes the ARM9 processor S3C2410 A as the core,designs a product which has the network communication,data processing and I/O port data collecting functions(network communication module in the paper).Linux OS is operated on the above platform,and the application programs are designed and developed.The paper introduces the definition,the composing and the characteristic of the embedded system briefly.The embedded processors and the embedded operating systems based on the use demand of network communication module are opted.The system including power circuit,clock circuit,reset circuit,storage circuit,net interface circuit,serial interface circuit,I/O port data collecting and JTAG port circuit is designed.The functional requirements and operational processes of the network communication module software are made clear,the software interface protocol is compiled,and the development platform is built to develop the source code.Two kinds of debugging tools are designed and the debugging software is written.After the software and hardware of the network communication module are developed,the debugging platform is built and the laboratory joint debugging is carried out.Through a series of tests,the function and performance of the network communication module meet the technical specifications,the design is reasonable and feasible,and the system runs stably and reliably.
