The trade of wire and cable is an important industry in the economic construction of our country, it is closely related to every walk of life of national economy and even world economic development. The research and development of its equipment making technology is important to improve our industry of wire and cable.Many technologies such as digital communication technology,computer,automation and control ,network technology and intelligent instruments technology are integrated into the Fieldbus.Fieldbus control system constitutes the distribute,digital,intelligent,two-direction, interlink, multi-parameters,multi-point communication and control system,and becomes the trend of the development of automation and control.Combining with an actual lab project, a structure of single layer network for the wire production line based on PROFIBUS field bus technology is designed in the paper. And methods of the field network configuration, parameters setting of host and slave stations as well as data communication under STEP7 software environment. It's carried on the research that to how WINCC of the configuration software visit from the slave station, and carry out in a specific way it. In view of the electric wire production line extruding machine temperature control question, proposed the optimized fuzzy PID arithmetic and the controller replace traditional the PID arithmetic design method. The simulation experiment result indicated that applies this kind of controller when carries in-line control to the line diameter control system, the system work is stable, the control effect is remarkable.Exactly according to the current status of Fieldbus development and applicationin our country , this paper presents software/hardware design and implementation method of PROFIBUS-DP intelligent slave station interface based on studying thebasic theory of PROFIBUS-DP (including system composing,protocol structure,data access mechanism and slave station communication principle).By using the PROFIBUS-DP protocol chip and AVR,the module of the intelligent slave station interface with PROFIBUS-DP interface,which is used for digital input and output,has been developed. Based on this system,to test the module of the intelligent slave station interface developed.
