Marine navigation radar is installed in various types of ships,it is used to detect the surrounding targets,extract the target's distance and bearing information and prevent the ship from colliding on the voyage.Now the proportion of marine navigation radar using traditional analog radar is still very large,digital radar is inevitable after the trend.Compared with traditional analog radar,digital radar has the better stability,higher performance and higher controllability.Especially in the algorithm processing,the digital radar has the advantages of analog radar unmatched,with the digital radar algorithm to achieve good consistency,after the data acquisition scene can be reproduced,the algorithm can be upgraded directly after the advantages of optimization and so on.The main design ideas of this project are: First it use FPGA to collect data in the upper unit of the radar,then it use ARM send the data to the control host by the network,when the control host receive the radar data,it will run the signal accumulation,sea clutter suppression,rain and snow clutter suppression,co-channel interference and other signal processing,finally it will display on the screen through the coordinate transformation algorithm.The software framework of the control host is implemented with the MVC framework.This paper discusses the working principle of the marine navigation radar,and introduces the composition of radars,the collection and processing process of radar's signal and the working principle of distance and orientation measuring of radars.Then it describes the function of the marine navigation radar,and introduces the overall design of the upper unit and the under unit of the marine navigation radar.In this paper,it emphatically analyzes the relationship between the model,the view and the controller of the MVC software framework and their processing flow,then it elaborates the data collection of the upper unit of the radar,coordinate conversion of the existence of blind spots and dead issues,and analyzes the principle of the algorithm of coordinate transformation,signal accumulation,sea clutter suppression,rain and snow clutter suppression,co-channel interference and constant false alarm as well as realizes them.The clutter suppression ability and the target detection rate of radars is improved by these algorithms.Finally,the operation situation of the MVC framework was tested by the operating system of Windows,Linux,Android.Meanwhile the function,performance and stability of radars were measured in a detailed way.These test results have reached the expected goal.And they are satisfactory.
