The Design And Development Of Comprehensive Archives Management System For The Party And Government Organizations

Massive electronic documents from various domains are created with the growth of e-government administration.Especially in recent years,the number of electronic documents has increased sharply and the types of electronic documents have become more and more diverse with expanded scope of application and value.Because the emergent important role of electronic documents,they have become a crucial part of national core information resources.Scientific management of electronic archives,achieving their authenticity,completeness and availability,is the basis for scientific decision-making as well as enabling the government to preserve the record of the history.This thesis aims to address the issues of the comprehensive archives management for the Party and government organizations,with a particular focus on the electronic file management and sharing.Namely,the purpose of the present study is to establish an integrated management system in order to improve the efficiency of the management of the archives within and across different departments in the Party and government organizations,by employing mature and advanced computer technology.Specifically,first,this thesis begins with an introduction to the background and significance of the research topic(e.g.,the development and current situation of electronic archives management system).Second,it reviews the technology used in the system design and development process,Including Web technology,ASP.Net,SOA,WebService,XML and component design.The system development is based on.Net platform and C/S structure.Third,it established the principles for the system design and development,based on which the system function,database,and system security were designed.Furthermore,it adopted the advanced database technology to enable the consistency of logical structure as well as the interface design,designed the layered management mode with the coexist of file information management,file retrieval,and archives building,and synchronized the database and interface compatible with the model system.The ultimate functional operation can be achieved through module interface.In conclusion,the electronic file management system,based on the notion of collaborative knowledge management and business process management,optimizes the process and greatly improves the efficiency and the rate of system reuse in the Party and government organizations.To sum up,the system of the electronic archives management for the Party and government organizations improves the efficiency of the administrative work,achieves the resource sharing,facilitates the storage of the archives,optimizes the management of the archives,and integrates the way of the archives searching.
