With the continuous development and increasing ripeness of high-precision FOG technology,it is time to start to develop a rotary FOG SINS prototype,which is great significant to improve the attitude precision of INS.The United States has successfully developed a three-axis rotary FOG SINS in many years ago,and shipped officially in 2009,and planned to equip with the strategic missile nuclear submarines in 2012,but then there was no more new message about that.In this paper,based on the three-axis FOG is developed in the laboratory,the overall scheme of rotary FOG SINS prototype was designed,and an overview of each composition unit of the INS prototype was represented.In order to improve the mechanical properties,and simplify the system structure,in view of the many advantages of optical fiber transmission,a method of using optical fiber slip rings to transmit the IMU data from indexing mechanism to the navigation computer was proposed,whose performance is superior to use the traditional electrical slip ring.In this method,use the fiber optic cable as physical layer transmission medium,and use wavelength division multiplexing technology to implement transmission of three-way fiber gyroscope signals and three-way accelerometer signals on a signal fiber at the same time.In order to improve the real-time performance,stability and reliability of INS,this paper presents the design of navigation computer interface with CPCI bus which has high reliability and hot switching capability.The research work in this paper focus on the development of fiber optic rotary SINS,mainly complete the design of a high-speed fiber-optic data transmission system based on CPCI bus and FPGA.This paper introduces the high-speed fiber-optic data transmission system scheme design,hardware circuit design,signal integrity design,FPGA logic design,communication protocol design and driver software design.Experimental results show that the fiber optic data transmission system is high-speed,real-time and reliable.Due to the modular design,the fiber optic data transmission system can be extended to radar systems,sonar systems,satellite communication,video transmission and other areas which need high-speed data transmission.
