With the acceleration of informatization of Group and enterprises,especially after our China Telecom Corp.Ltd acquires the Three Network License,all kinds of business are becoming increasingly integrated and complicated.Collection and analysis of data promote geometrically.Meanwhile,corresponding bottleneck problems,mainly upon rapid and reliable routing convergence,data forwarding and expansion of carrying capacity,arise.Thus,how to come up with a convenient,economical and extremely efficient project is a task of top priority.At present,there are two most commonly used methods.One is“private network private line” expansion which always focuses on small regions.The other is MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching)VPN(Virtual Private Network)technical expansion,mainly applying to wide and large scale.A practical project is to combine these two together to establish even bigger DCN.Traditional DCN,with its restriction of independent networking,can only apply to “private network private line” construction model.Its deficiency is quite obvious: high cost and low efficiency.If network among buildings want to be established,MPLS VPN technology has to beapplied to develop DCN which makes even larger,simulated private network safe and reliable.From the perspective of net optimization and project implementation,This thesis described step-by-step the whole process how DCN of one city transfer from an old traditional one to a completely new one with MPLS VPN technology.It turned out that the research of XX city's DCN renovation can't be achieved rapidly.First,it's a process of progressive elaboration since there are so many problems turning up continuously.Second,users-churning from an old one to a new one needs time to keep on the right track.Profits of tens of thousands of RMB will be increased by renting 36 light path after the optimized project implementation.And more than three million RMB will be saved by sharing CN2 network resources.From what we discussed in the thesis of the traditional DCN to MPLS VPN-supported DCN,we can have a clear understanding of the transformation from a static route to a dynamic one,a thorough comprehension of equipment replacement from complicated multipath route to articulation nodes one.And thus a practicable application of MPLS VPN-supported DCN expansion is likely to be carried out.
