The radio monitoring system is an important equipment for radio monitoring and management.With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,requirements including multi-mode and wide bandwidth is proposed to radio monitoring system.Based on the backgroud,a multi-mode radio monitoring system is designed using SDR technology,which mainly includes circuit designing,underlying interface driver development,and the hardware and software performance test of system receiver.The main research content of this paper are as follows:1.After introducing the new characteristics of wireless communication system and analyzing the deficiencies of the current radio monitoring system,the research background and significance are given.2.According to the function and performance requirements to radio monitoring system for multi-mode wireless communication,an architecture of radio monitoring system with Transceiver,FPGA and DSP is proposed using SDR technology.3.This paper makes the selection of DSPs,FPGA and RF transceiver chips.After that,the detailed system circuit is designed,including the system clock circuit,the system power circuit,DSP-related circuits,FPGA-related circuits and RF transceiver-related circuits.4.The system interface programs,mainly including DSP startup program,AIF2 interface program,RF transceiver AD9361 driver,are deveploped.5.Finally,the circuits concerning power,clock and module interfaces are debugged.Also the function and performance of the system receiver are verified via experiment.The research,design and verification in the paper set the foundation for the follow-up design and development of multi-mode radio monitoring system based on software-defined radio technology.
