With the increasing digital readout rate,the output of electronic digital products is also increasing in measuring industry.But the profit of the products is declining year by year.The first reason is: the price of the products drops causing by the competition with each other in digital display measuring tool industry that is the unchangeable reality.And the second reason is: the inspection of the product relies on the artificial inspection while the production of the product is already realized mechanization.And it occurs that a bottleneck of production will happen caused by reducing the inspectors,or an increase cost will happen caused by increasing the inspectors.Along with the progress of electronic information technology,the traditional artificial inspection of the electronic products will be replaced by the intelligent machines.Also digital image processing technology is one of the technical means used by the intelligent machine.It acquires image from the external image apparatus to the computer.Then the computer can recognize the target and object by processing,analysis and understanding of the image.Thus it can realize then no-contact and no-stop inspection.So to improve the method of the inspection of the company's products,a research is made on the quality inspection system of the electronic products based on image processing.Firstly,the research background and the research status are described,the development and trend of digital image processing are researched deeply by referring to many references about the technology and tools of the digital image processing.And the contents which include image segmentation,image matching and image recognition are briefly introduced.Based on the above content,the main contents of the research are put forward.Next according to the characteristics of the chip binding,product precision and product appearance detection of the production process,the image processing methods are summarized.Secondly,the testing quality system requirements are put forward through the investigation and analysis of electronic products in the production process of the quality inspection process and content.Based on the theory of software engineering,the feasibility of the system is analyzed.According to the system design requirements,the functional requirements of the function and performance of the quality inspection system are analyzed.And the overall system design and detailed design are completed.Thirdly,according to the system design method,the function modules,data management and system integration of the system are realized by combining with the system development environment.Finally,the validity and reliability of the testing system are verified by testing on the function and performance of the system.So the system can meet the requirements of production testing.And also the factors that affect the detection process are pointed out through the analysis of the experimental results.Thus it is convenient to check and adjust the problems in the course of using.The design of the inspection system is put forward by the actual situation of production.Also after testing the system has normal functions and stable performance.So it can meet the business requirements of the product quality inspection.At last at the end of the paper the results of the research are summarized,and the follow-up research is prospected.
