With the development of CAE technology,it has been widely used in many fields,such as civil engineering,hydraulic engineering,machinery and so on.However,there are a series of problems in the application of this technology.Domain knowledge is difficult to share;the repetitive work in engineering analysis is very conplicated because of the change of design;beginners lack of experience on CAE,the lack of explicit expression of analysis case for engineering personnel reference.The paper discusses the implementation method of CAE intelligent support system and research on the technology about the case knowledge representation and case retrieval and matching methods.The contents are listed below:Firstly,establishes the theoretical framework of CAE intelligent assistant system.The process of the intelligent assistant is divided into four phases:problem definition,problem formulation,Solution phase and Finite element analysis.Describes the main content of each stage and elaborates the operational mechanism of this approach.By analyzing domain knowledge of CAE and successful analysis cases,the basic information of CAE case is obtained.The semantic representation of the case is carried out from the attribute information,the analysis information and the solution scheme by the XML marki up language.Furthermore,realizes the explicit expression of information of the product including product design,analysis intent and analytical solution.Extend the information express of product from simple CAD geometric information to engineering information.Studies the modeling process and structure characteristics of XML file.According to the Case-based reasoning(CBR),proposes a retrieval method based on finite element template and gives the relationship between the template and the XML file.The algorithm is used to match the two independent XML files and get the matching case finally.The practicality of the algorithm is verified by the matching calculation of the connecting rod.Develop CAE intelligent system by using C#programming language based on the development platform of Visual Studio2012.The static analysis of engine connecting rod is carried out by using this system and obtains the solution In the end,summarizes the main contents of the paper and gives the main research directions in the future.
