Wireless communication technology began from 1920's,which is more mature.And now it is developed t o t he B3 G e ra,t hen m oving to t he 4 G er a.With th e development of w ireless communication,the techniques of the wireless ch annel model measurement and modeling have gained wide attention and research.Wireless channel model,as a summary which is about wireless communication channel and the radio pr opagation c haracteristics,has drawn more a ttentions f or r esearchers.From recent year's researches,we need to study the radio channel measurement system for large-scale field measurements,and to establish the wireless channel model which is for the urban and rural propagation scenarios and the morphological characteristics of buildings.For the existing wireless communication channel model,we researched on each model in depth firstly.We studied a number of representative models to analyze and compare the advantages,disadvantages and application of each kind of models.At the s ame time,we also explored some frequently using,w idely applied s tandard models.We p roposed a m ore co mplete w ireless ch annel cl assification an d gave a table for readers' reference.For t he pur pose of studying o f the r adio c hannel m odeling a pproaches,w e divided the wireless channel m odel i nto t wo ki nds: e mpirical models a nd deterministic mo dels.R espectively,put t he Okumura m odel,improved O kumura-Hata model and the WINNER II model as an example.We use the Matlab software to simulate t hese models.B y ch anging t he p arameters o f t he m odels,we study th e effects of the wireless communication channel model path loss.To clear deterministic modeling a pproaches,we di vide them into t wo kinds: r ay launching or ray-tracing method a nd finite d ifference time d omain method.The fo rmer is according t o t he electromagnetic w ave propagation theory,it simulate the s ignal w ave f or t he l ight launching.Thus,we could get of a specific point in the space.The latter method is also known as the FDTD method,which is obtained the solution or the approximate solution b y s olving M axwell's e quations i n the time d omain,us ed t he M atlab t o simulate the TE waves,T M w aves and t he T EM w aves.T hen w e c ould get the transmitted parameters of a specific point from the Yee grid.Through the study of this dissertation,we can get the basis of theoretical methods,which the wireless channel model is build for our future terrain distribution.While it also g ives a preparation f or pr oviding more general p arameters o f t he wireless channels.
