There are two methods to model the wireless channel:statistical model method and deterministic model method. This paper which is based on deterministic model method analyzes mine and indoor wireless channel by Ray-Tracing and FDTD methods respectively. For FDTD method, impulse response, channel parameters like path loss, the receiving power vs. time and delay spread are extracted by CLEAN algorithm. And for Ray-Tracing method, these channel parameters can be obtained directly. Meanwhile, because the parameters of indoor walls and mine roadway surrounding rock are not fixed, this paper also discusses the effects of electric parameters on wireless channel characteristics. The specific contents of this dissertation are shown as follows:Firstly, the development status of wireless channel modeling in home and abroad is introduced. Then this paper analyzes the fading characteristics of wireless channel and gives some important parameters of the wireless channel; and then two deterministic model methods (Ray-Tracing method and FDTD method) are analyzed. All these theories will lay a theoretical foundation for the follow-up work.Secondly, Ray-Tracing method is used to analyze the transmission characteristics of the mine roadway wireless channel. With the help of the ray tracing simulation software Wireless Insite, channel parameters of mine roadway wireless channel are obtained. Because the parameters of surrounding rock of mine channel change greatly in different environment, so effects of dielectric constant, conductivity and surface roughness of the mine wireless channel are also studied in this paper, and some significant conclusions are obtained by simulation. At last, FDTD method is used to analyze the transmission characteristics of the indoor wireless channel. For LOS (line-of-sight) and NLOS (none-line-of-sight) model, the receiving waveform is obtained, and then channel parameters like path loss, the receiving power vs. time and delay spread are extracted by CLEAN algorithm. For that the electric parameters of the indoor walls are not fixed in different environment, this paper also discusses the effects of electric parameters on wireless channel characteristics. The results agree with the value obtained by business-oriented software (Wireless Insite), which verifies the correctness of this algorithm.
