Short wave is mainly transmitted by sky wave,therefore Short wave communication has irreplaceable position in the field of non cooperative long-distance wireless communication,it is also an important support of strategic communication network and emergency communication system.Wireless communication system based on Morse code has the advantages of signal transmitted with narrow bandwidth and easy to be recognized,simple equipment with small volume,and low transmission power,so it has been widely used in military,navigation,meteorology,civil aviation and civilian long-distance communication field.Morse shortwave wireless communication system is a digital communication system,the key components of Morse signal processing,modulation and demodulation can adopt the digital system design tools to develop a prototype system.Therefore,this paper uses the IP kernel and SOC technology to implement a Morse code signal processing system in FPGA,digital modulation and demodulation and transceiver components is designed using modular method,thus can reduce the risk of design,shorten the development cycle,optimize system design.The main work of this paper includes:(1)combining the method of IP core reuse with FPGA,to complete the design of Morse code processing SOC system based on MC8051 IP core.The key of the system design is the design of the Morse code serial asynchronous receiver transmitter module(M-SART IP core),and the analysis of the design process is given.The SOC system is implemented on the FPGA platform BASYS 3 which is based on Xilinx Artix-7 chip.(2)using modular design method to implement a shortwave wireless communication system,which works on 7MHz frequency.The input and output devices of which is the Morse code signal processing SOC system,and the transceiver is a compact,simple Morse CW transceiver.The difficulty of the system design lies in the transceiver design.(3)setting up the experimental platform,and verifying the Morse signal automatic processing function of the Morse SOC system and the wireless communication system.The experimental results show that the design is feasible and the system performance is reliable in short distance transmission.
