Nowadays,SMT technology developed from initial lead-contain process to lead-free process then to present Halogen-Free process.With this change,the equipment and process related to SMT will be upgraded.How to guarantee the quality stability and reliability of SMT products in this change is the most importance for industry.The article briefly introduces the basic process,the equipments,materials and the quality control tools of the SMT,then describes the working principle and the control points in detail.The dissertation studies the control of the solder thickness in the solder paste process and the optimization of the profile of reflow-oven process.The procedure is designing the experiments with DOE by the Taguchi,ANOVA,linear regression analysis and soft MINITAB to analyze the data for identifying the significant factors,then verifying the found regression equation.In this dissertation,the improved method has a strong operability in SMT.Its calculating process can use the Minitab software with simplicity and clearness for SMT technical staff.The method is easy to master and use,which has effective control of product quality at the same time.It helps to solve the quality problems encountered in the process of production,which provided a new thought and method for the subsequent production.
