With the advent of the 4G era,large-bandwidth Internet services such as mobile communications,cloud computing,Internet of Things,and video services are widely popularized,resulting in increasing bandwidth pressure on the optical communication backbone network.It is imperative to substantially increase the transmission capacity of optical communication networks.For the current DWDM transmission system,100 Gbps optical fiber communication technology can be used to enhance the transport channel capacity.100 G optical module,as the core of 100 G optical fiber communication,the cost is still high cost due to the complicated technology.This problem has restricted the development of 100 G optical module technology to a certain degree.Thesis that 100 G long-distance CFP optical module research aimed at solving the above problems,to achieve 40 Km optical signal transmission without relay amplication,reduce the base station construction costs,and promote the development of optical communication sectors.The thesis mainly studies the solution of 100 G CFP ER4 optical module.The main technologies are wavelength lock,power balance,TEC control and interface rate conversion and so on.And the thesis proposes a method for controlling a cascaded optical power adjusting unit,which is based on a series modulating optical power adjusting unit.Based on the above method,improving the design scheme of the traditional VOA + SOA,achieving the receiving optical power can be quickly and effectively adjusted.First of all,introducing the research background of 100 G CFP ER4 optical module,the thesis clarifies the research significance of 100 G CFP ER4 optical module.At the same time,it analyzes two solutions with the highest responsivity in the industry,selects the most suitable scheme and combines CFP MSA,IEEE802.3ba Agreement to determine the thesis' s goal.Next,the overall design scheme of the 100 G CFP ER4 is determined,and the specific implementation schemes are given from the receiver and the transmitter respectively.Combining with the method of controlling the cascaded optical power adjusting unit and the ATC temperature control algorithm,improving the tranditional optical module control scheme,achieving the intelligent control of optical modules.The 100 G CFP ER4 optical module has been fully tested,and the test results show that the indicators can meet the requirements of the product.In the last part of the thesis,the full text is summarized,and the problem to be solved and optimized in the subject are put forward.
