In recent years,with the rapid development of wireless communication technology and mobile terminal technology,the multimedia business has exploded,but also greatly promoted user's demand for mobile communication and improved people's living efficiency.Wireless network is becoming an important part of the Internet,and its network performance has been paid more and more attention to.In order to effectively obtain the network performance parameters of low-speed wireless network,this thesis studies wireless network performance measurement methods.Ad-hoc network as an important form of wireless network in the military and civilian has a wide range of applications,and it is also the object of this thesis,the work of the thesis mainly includes the following three aspects:Firstly,because the current wireless Ad-hoc network research is based on a number of simulation tools,in order to carry out relevant research in real environment,the author investigates the current wireless Ad-hoc network implementation platform,and analyzes two sets of programs which are based on ARM development board and USRP platform,after a comprehensive consideration,the ARM development board is selected as the experimental platform.The author realizes ARM-based embedded linux system wireless Ad-hoc network(ALAN)platform,and the AODV routing protocol is implemented based on the ALAN platform,the author conducts a network communication test.The experimental results show that the AODV routing protocol is running normally and the network connectivity is in good condition.Secondly,the performance measurement method of TCP protocol in wireless Ad-hoc network is analyzed and studyed.The bottleneck bandwidth measurement algorithm of four-group model based on grouping model is proposed and implemented on ALAN platform.At the same time,the author studies the delay and packet loss measurement method of TCP protocols.Relatively speaking,the measurement algorithms adopted in this thesis have low load,the measurement process has little effect on network load.Finally,the delay,bandwidth and packet loss rate experiments are carried out on the ALAN platform,and the influence of the packet size on the delay and the influence of the obstacles on the network performance in the process of wireless tramission are analyzed.The experimental results show that the method of the thesis can accurately measure the performance parameters of ALAN platform.
