Currently,satellite communication has been applied on many areas such as emergency communication,global long distance communication,and military communication because of its excellent advantages.Wave band of satellite communication distributes in a wide frequency range.To develop space satellite resources Further,our country has developed satellite communication in Ka wave band.According to the requirements For transmit and receive antennas with high gain and efficiency in satellite communicate system,a single offset reflector antenna is studied in this paper.Satellite Communication antennas have gained great progress due to their merits such as low cost,low profile,ease of fabrication and integration convenience.The overall single offset reflector antenna system mainly includes reflector and feed.First of all,this paper mainly research and design work in Ka band is an important part of the big angle thin slot corrugated conical horn antenna of different slotting method is studied by slotting is an optimal as a miniature high efficiency reflector antenna feed system,should be used in the field of communication.A detailed study on the influence of offset feed defocusing reflector performance.Secondly,according to the geometry of the reflector simulation Ka offset reflector efficiency formula,puts forward a comprehensive simulation software CST new method efficiently and accurately.And the simulation of different transverse and longitudinal offset feed were calculated and compared with the radiation field in the offset reflector radiation pattern focus.At the end,the feed and offset reflector are respectively processed and measured the electrical performance of antenna parameters,ensure the feed in the whole band receiver: 18.7GHz~21.2GHz;emission: 27GHz~31GHz VSWR in less than 1.3.Reflection of the side lobe is less than-25 d B,the offset reflector of the axial cross polarization in less than-30 d B,meet the requirements of satellite communication network.The results show that the antenna has good electrical performance and radiation pattern.
