The level of scientific research is one of the important indexes to measure the comprehensive ability of a university.But in universities the scientific research work does not get enough support,especially in the aspect of information construction.Laboratory is the important place for scientific research work in university.Many scientific research achievements of universities are got in the lab,after many times of experiments.Laboratory's main job is to conduct scientific experiments.In the experimental process,it need to manage the experimental data and experimental result,also need to maintain equipment information,user information data and machine-time information.For laboratory operations,two kinds of information both are very important.Traditional way of laboratory management is flawed,which can not manage these information efficiently.To a certain extent,it affected the accuracy of the laboratory research.Laboratory information management system will greatly improve the level of laboratory management,it can manage the experimental information,equipment state information,equipment maintenance information,experiment data,personnel information and other information effectively.LIMS can combine each link seamless,reduce the experiment cost,improve the accuracy and efficiency of the experiment.So this paper will analyses the actual demand of laboratory management in Tsinghua analyses center,research the design and implementation method of laboratory information management system.Firstly,on the basis of the daily management processes laboratories conduct research on understanding the business requirements through laboratory needs analysis and data modeling,database and overall system architecture and design,in accordance with the operational characteristics of the system is divided into system management,equipment management,time machine management,statistical analysis,sample management and business acceptance of the six functional modules,and detailed design and implementation.The system uses Struts technical processing view layer,business logic layer processing technology using Spring,Hibernate persistence layer using technology to process data,to build a J2EE standard Web management platform.The system mainly implements the following functions:to achieve the whole process management of sample analysis,including all phases of sample analysis of the application,review,the results of inspection,and report;implementation of laboratory equipment management,including laboratory equipment registration,query,statistics,maintenance condition;laboratory equipment to achieve machine management,integrated management of equipment the use of time,the usage of equipment registration,query,statistics etc..Through the effective management and analysis of laboratory information,generate business use efficiency,equipment acceptance sample distribution,business handling charges,which can assess the lab daily work areas of laboratory personnel in quantitative performance,provides the important reference for the laboratory management personnel to make a reasonable and scientific decision-making.After the completion of the system functional testing and non-functional testing,the test system is running well,through the analysis of the test results show that the laboratory information management system meet the design requirements.After the user trial,reflecting the system is stable,functional and non-functional aspects meet user requirements.
