With the rapid development of semiconductor technology,the microprocessor has been more and more widely used in integrated circuit,in order to guarantee the normal work of the microprocessor system,monitoring circuit is necessary.Monitoring circuit can only monitor voltage and the function is relatively simple in the early,but the current monitoring circuit turns towards the direction of diversification and multi-function.This paper designs a low cost,high integration,multifunctional microprocessor monitoring chip,the chip can realize electric reset,power on reset,1.6 seconds of independent watchdog monitoring,abnormal voltage warning and low battery detection,can effectively monitor the power supply voltage,the battery failure,the working state of the microprocessor or the microcontroller,greatly improving the reliability and stability of the microprocessor monitor circuit.According to the index requirements,this paper has realized the overall structure of the chip design,further realized the circuit design and functional simulation of voltage reference circuit,oscillator,watchdog detection and reset circuit,comparator,timer,and reset threshold detection circuit,and the simulation results of each corner and the results of the correction under extreme corner are given;According to the circuit simulation results,this paper has finished layout design,from floor plan,device matching to the whole layout design optimization;Finally,focused on the reliability,this paper has realized the anti-radiation design and ESD design.Anti-radiation design include s total dose effect and single particle latch up effect.Design tools use the Virtuoso design platform provided by Cadence for circuit design and layout design,the use of Spectre for circuit simulation,and the use of Calibre provided by mentor for layout verification.The simulation of the whole circuit shows that the design function and technical target was achieved.The main innovation points of this paper are as follows:1.It improves the function integration degree and integrates many functions into one chip,without external components can realize multiple functions of microprocessor control circuit.The design area of the chip is reduced,and the production cost is saved.2.The anti-radiation reinforcement is carried out in this design,and the corresponding measures are taken in the total dose effect and the single particle effect.The chip has the ability of anti-radiation and can be used in the aerospace,military and other radiation environment.
