ISAR is a kind of high resolution imaging radar which for non-cooperative targets,it can obtain the two-dimensional high-resolution images of targets on all-weather all-time condition at long range,therefore it has been widely used in military aspects.Hardware's updating support the progress of ISAR imaging algorithm,improving the image fidelity and target recognition based on image are the future development inevitable trend for radar.The operation ability and stability of embedded chip is improving,it meets the more and more high performance requirements of signal processing system.In recent years,the design of the real-time signal processing system based on Power PC processor is an important research direction.High performance,low power consumption of the Power PC processor and high stability,good real-time of the Vx Works operating system has been further appear in military products,aerospace equipment,it has played a more and more important role.This paper mainly studied the basic principle of ISAR imaging,motion compensation technology and project implementation.This paper based on the hardware MPC8641 D process belong to the Power PC series,and Vx Works operating system attached to the processor as the core to carry on the program design,completed the design of multitasking real-time imaging system.This paper can be summarized as follows:Firstly,the basic principle of ISAR imaging and motion compensation method are briefly introduced in this paper.This paper analyzes several classic envelope alignment and autofocus methods of imaging,study these methods by specific theoretical derivation and with the results of the measured data.According to the image gathering effect and the computation,this paper choose the appropriate method of engineering practice to carry the program design.Then,data transmission of the system and imaging data path are stated,and MPC8641 D processor and Vx Works operating structure and characteristics are introduced,this paper also illustrated the structure of the PPC data processing board in detail.Combined with ISAR imaging process,this paper designed the software programs,and estimated algorithm of the required internal memory bandwidth and the time computation.Lastly,the software program is verified with measured data,this paper completed the design of real-time image processing system.
