A wide range of scene simulation in urban construction,project cost,environmental monitoring,military exercises,and many other fields use range is very wide.How to achieve on the basis of the large range of real terrain 3 d graphical visualization is a hotspot of current discussion,this paper analyzes the following:With the development of economy and the progress of the society,virtual reality has already been widely used in military exercises and training process,has become a very important topic.By cameras or outside or viewer observations of the rehearsal scene can actually reflect in the court of the aircraft,tanks,radar,missile position such as status and running state,but because of the technical and professional knowledge is not enough,so there is no good to provide space for development.Along with the development of the virtual reality technology in recent years,based on 3Dmodeling and OpenSceneGraph(hereinafter referred to as the OSG)three dimension visual simulation has been developed rapidly,and shows a broad application prospect and potential commercial value,has received great attention of the academic and business at home and abroad.This paper is mainly on how to apply virtual reality technology to the three dimensional dynamics simulation system,by designing a generate dynamic sphere,3Dmodeling based on OSG technology and a wide range of real terrain 3 d real-time simulation platform,to achieve real-time simulation of the real battlefield scene.First,studies the expression form,the 3 d terrain elevation data and satellite images to obtain real,will receive the raw data is converted into a standard data format.On the basis of the real Terrain,select the elevation data and satellite image data,through the Creator Terrain Studio to generate Terrain data,and cut to delicate model area(airport,terminal and other key areas),completed the construction of a wide range of real Terrain library.Second,the use of modeling tools,such as the production softwares 3DMAX,Creator,airports,aircraft,tanks and other fine model is set up,the study of complex method of three dimension visual animation set DOF nodes,layer number of LOD,for later in the scenario simulation software has better rendering efficiency.Finally,in view of the scene simulation software requirement analysis,on the basis of design and determined the scene simulation software,the basic function of each module,implementation scenario simulation software.Article quantities of data for the natural terrain rendering high requirements for hardware and software,long development cycle,the development difficult problem,provides the treatment scheme of using OSG.In this paper,implementation of scene simulation software can be used in the battlefield simulation,flight training simulation and used for fighting global warning,has important application value.
