All-optical switch is an important photonic integrated device,it is entirely using the interaction of photons and media to achieve the control of the optical transmission process.It is in the optical communication,optical computing,fast optical information processing,and have a very broad application prospects.Photonic crystals is a kind of dielectric micro structure composed of different refractive index media arranged periodically in space,The period of its structural change is on the same order of magnitude as the light wavelength.The application of photonic crystals in the direction of all-optical switching provides a new idea for the development of all-optical switches and opens up new situations.It makes the device miniaturized,and can be flexible control of light transmission.Therefore,the study based on photonic crystal switch is very important.In this paper,two kinds of all-optical switches based on photonic crystal waveguide and resonant cavity coupling structure are proposed.Firstly,the switching mechanism of photonic crystal all-optical switch is analyzed.Based on the complete square lattice structure,a photonic crystal optical switch structure with straight waveguide and ring resonator is designed.According to the simulation analysis,adjust the lattice parameters,duty cycle,raw material refractive index and other structural parameters,can make the communication band to achieve the switching effect of light waves,and can reach more than 98.8% pass rate.Then,an optical switch based on waveguide and waveguide coupling structure is proposed.First,the switching mechanism based on the all-optical switch of this structure is analyzed.Based on the complete square lattice structure,a photonic crystal optical switch structure with straight waveguide and direct waveguide is designed.According to the simulation analysis,adjust the lattice parameters,duty cycle,raw material refractive index and other structural parameters,can make the communication band of light to achieve switching effect,and can achieve the above 98.8% pass rate.Finally,this paper presents a filter based on photonic crystal waveguide and resonant cavity coupling structure.The structural parameters are analyzed and designed that use software which called Rsoft.So that it can filter the wavelength of 1550 nm.
