As a public welfare institution,museum provides cultural and educational services for the public.Public education is one of the important responsibilities of that community.If we want to make the greatest value of social service of museum,it is necessary to use creative strategies and methods to strengthen the implementation of public culture in the museum.And from the perspective of public cultural management,we need to analyze the existing problem and then find a solution.In recent years,for our modern museum culture,it shows and exchanges experience in the emergence of educational services.It's a widely used new education model.It takes the experience as a mean of display,so that the public can get self-experience from the creation of relevant context and spiritual sentiment.There forms a stark comparison as to the past "indoctrination" type of education,which refers to a cognitive education activity to highlight subjectivity,particularity and openness of the public.At present in our country,experiential education services is mainly provided by some natural science and comprehensive museums.They're basically a faction from the content and point of view.It is difficult to be widely used and play as an exemplary role.It also does not form a sustainable development or an effective operating mechanism.In this thesis,I will take Ningbo Museum as an example to illustrate the important role of experiential education in the development of cultural and educational services in museum.Then,the problem which existed in the application of experiential education services in the public cultural and educational service projects of Ningbo Museum will be analyzed.At last,I will propose solutions and strategies for that problem.This thesis contains five chapters.The first chapter analyzes the background,present situation and the meaning of this topic.The second chapter introduces the concept and theories related to the topic.The third chapters focus on the analysis of Ningbo Museum's experience in the exhibition.The fourth chapter analyzes the problems of experiential education services concerning with government,museum and public at the present stage.The last chapter tries to address these issue from Ningbo Museum who should take currently that corresponding countermeasures.
