Research On Improving The Quality Of Public Cultural Services Of Museums In Guangxi

Since China’s public museums are admission-free to visitors,large-scale and professional public cultural services offered by museums has yielded initial results with decades of practice.However,in the course of offering public services,due to the shortage of supply of major public cultural services such as infrastructure and exhibitions,insufficient financial resources and human resources,the ability and quality of providing such cultural services gradually show greater differences among museums of different levels and categories.This thesis Builds on the new public service theory and illustrates the Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,which was classified as a national first-level museum,comprehensive history and art museum at the provincial(autonomous region)level in the first batch,as an case,through researching methods such as in-depth interviews with the objects of public cultural services in museums,questionnaires to the public,sorting out the research related to the public cultural service of museums at home and abroad,comparing the actual supply of public cultural services in museums at home and abroad.Based on the actual work of museums,this study defines the public cultural services provided by museums,a basic cultural facility,to the public,and completes the theories related to the construction of the existing public cultural service system.This thesis conducts analysis on the status quo and sorts out existing problems and reasons of the Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Combining with the features of "publicity","convenience" and "involvement",this thesis gives Guangxi Museum potential suggestions for further improvement of public cultural Service quality.The public cultural service of museums is based on the collection of cultural relics and local culture,and provides the public with places of public,public welfare,fairness,convenience and participation that can take the initiative to conduct lifelong learning and leisure and entertainment.The public cultural service of the museum should make the audience feel happy in the museum as much as possible,so as to make the museum a place that they would like to visit frequently.Suggestions on improving the quality of public cultural services in museums can also be provided to museums of the same type or size for reference in practical work.
