With the rapid development of mobile Internet,mobile intelligent terminal has been growing rapidly,it need to be able to solve the problem of mobile termianls in the process of mobile communication continuity scheme.At present,the academia has put forward a lot of centralized and distributed mobility management.There are many problems such as triangular route,tunnel mechanism high cost and so on.Although the use of SDN control plane and data plane separation characteristics,can slove some mobility management problems,however,in large scale networks,SDN is deployed in a single centralized manner,which reduces the performance of the overall control plane and increases the time of handoff delay and the number of packet loss during the movement.Therefore,the research content of this thesis is not to let the controller become the bottleneck of the network,and reduce the overhead of the control plane.This thesis first analyzes the problems existing in the current mobility management,puts forward a distributed mobility management scheme based on SDN hierarchical control plane,designs intra domain and inter domain mobility management handover process.Then,the existing SDN control plane technology research,put forward the control plane of using a hierarchical model to replace the traditional centralized control plane,and the modification of open source controller Ryu,programing link found module,network topology module,routing management module,north component module and mobile function of terminal sensing module,ARP proxy module,strategy update module,modified controller can support SDN hierarchical mobility management of control plane.Finally,on the Mininet network simulation platform,the hierarchical control plane performance after the innovation experiment validation,respectively intra domain and inter domain mobility management experiment validation,and with other mobility management scheme comparison and analysis on the performance.
