Photoelectric products are devices that have the function of photoelectric conversion.Different from pure electronic products,the structure of photoelectric products are more complex,sensitive and accurate.So the technology of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis for photoelectric products is lagging.To solve this problem,the optic transceiver module is taken as the research object,and its failure modes are analysed.Then a modified method is put forward based on the existing method of digital diagnosis monitor function.The main contents of the dissertation are as follows1.The failure mode analysis and simulation of Photoelectronic devices.The failure modes of optic transceiver modules are divided into two kinds,one is device fault,another is circuit fault.The failure modes of semiconductor laser and photoelectric detector are discussed.Their failure trees are established to analyse the failure effects.Then,the properties of semiconductor laser and photoelectric detector are simulated with the software of Pspice.From the simulation results,different effects of different working conditions are obtained,and the reasons of failure modes are summarized.2.The circuit failure modes of optic transceiver and failure effects analysisThe circuits of optic transceiver are analysed from two parts,the transmitting part and receiving part,including the automatic power and modulation control circuit,and head amplifier.The main reasons for circuit failure are confirmed.Then the main parameters of SFP and their interrelation are discussed.A simple fibre system is established with the tool of Optisystem.With the system,the bad effects on fibre system from optic transceiver failure modes are simulated.3 Research on the embedded monitoring of optic transceiverThe digital diagnosis monitoring of optic transceiver is analysed,and a new monitoring method is put forward based on the agreement of SFF-8472.The modulation current is suggest to be monitored.A new monitoring system is designed based on AVR,and the method for parameter collection transformation and storage is also introduced.At last,extinction ratio's monitoring comes true based on the new monitoring design.
